The City Compost Site is open on Mondays beginning April 18, 2022 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM and on Saturdays beginning April 23, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
There will be a Department of Public Services staff member located at the Compost Site to sign in residents and check their loads.

Residents are encouraged to leave dead plant material in their gardens until temperatures have been consistently above 50 degrees F. Pollinators such as bees and butterflies overwinter in this plant material and may be destroyed by removing the material too soon. Leaving the plant material in place until consistently warmer weather arrives helps to protect the garden ecosystem and better ensures the health of pollinators.
