The City of Hastings is accepting applications for a temporary, part-time water and wastewater laborer/intern. The position will be for approximately 32 hours a week $12 an hour depending on qualifications and experience. This position will function in both the water and wastewater treatment facilities. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Michigan’s driver’s license.
Work performed may include: grounds keeping, equipment repairs and maintenance, cleaning, and some lab experience. The position will expose the selected candidate to experience and knowledge in maintaining all processes of water distribution and water reclamation.
